The Patrick Durkin Bursary

Criteria:

a) Candidate applicants may be any current elementary Simcoe County District School Board teacher who is a member of the Simcoe County Elementary Teachers' Federation and who has demonstrated leadership in his/her school, as well as leadership or active participation in his/her Federation.

b) Preference will be given to a candidate wishing to study any current ETFO course or, if that is not available, its equivalent. For example, ETFO leadership courses, P.A.R. (Positions of Added Responsibility) and Supervisory Officer training, other intensive levels of leadership training, course trainer training, peer coaching, etc…

Procedures:

1. All applications shall be confidential.

2. The application shall be reviewed by the three current directing officers.

Application Deadline: Forms must be into the SCETF Office by March 1st.
